The journal publishes articles on theoretical and some applied issues of analytical chemistry, informs the reader about new directions in the development of methods of analysis and sample preparation, about new devices and reagents. Much space is given to problems arising in the analysis of vital environments such as water and air. The issues of detection and determination of metal ions, anions, as well as various organic and other substances are considered.
